Dalis uses her hand dyed wool roving, silk sari, silk ribbon, silk chiffon, lace and various yarns as she 'paints' her landscapes, which she calls Lambscapes. She starts with a wool felt base then layers on wool roving. Then the yarn, ribbons, silk and other embellishments start to take shape as they are placed on top of the roving. These are impressionistic paintings of landscapes that Dalis has visited or that surrounds where she lives.
'Sheep in the Meadow 1' is the view of her field in the autumn. A bright afternoon sky over the green fields of the colors of autumn in the foreground. Sheep graze in the grass.
