Jewelweed is a wonderful plant that grows in the shade along roadsides near water. I picked scads of it, infused it in olive oil in the sun and made this salve for poison ivy and insect bites. I'm allergic to poison ivy and this salve works great for me. Takes that darn itch away and is gentle on the skin. There's 2 sizes, 1 oz. and 2 oz.
